ABOUT US
We position ourselves as an owner-managed, medium-sized company. Founder and Managing Director Stephan Hertwig has learned steel and refractory construction from scratch. During his training, he came in contact with the RH process. Initially, the focus was on the production of immersion tubes. These are used in steel production and require maximum fire resistance.
In the following, individual assembly areas were outsourced to SH-Industrieservice in cooperation with leading steel producers in Europe. With competence, qualification and hands-on mentality, Stephan Hertwig and his colleagues showed that considerable potential can be gained through the use of specialists.
THE PROCEDURE
In the process, a subset of the liquid steel is sucked by means of two dip tubes and enriched with gases. We accompany this process, which has been in operation since 1958, and deploy our teams and specialists in accordance with the requirements.
